Trichallenge 2009
This year, SMU Fitnessworks would once again be organizing Super Tri-Challenge 2008 at SMU Admin Building on 13 February 2009. This 3-stage race is designed to be challenging but yet within the physical limit for all. There will be a total of 3 stages, and each team comprises of 3 members, each performing one stage consecutively. The stages are spinning, swimming and lastly, the strongman challenge. Challenge 1: Spinning (Sports Hall – Admin Building Level 3) This stage requires participants to compete on the spinning bike. Upon completion, the participant will tag his/her team challenger to race off to the next challenge - swimming. Challenge 2: Swimming (Swimming Pool – Admin Building Level 6) This stage requires the second player to race up to 6th storey where the pool is located and complete a 100m swim sprint. Participant then races back to the sports hall where he passes off to the last participant. Challenge 3: Strong Man (Sports Hall – Admin Building Level 3) This stage requires participants to pick up two 20kg weight plates on each side and complete the race route (approximately 400m). Upon completion, the participant is to cross the finishing line. New Category - WOMEN Only open to women (3 women in a team) In this category, every team will only compete in Challenge 3: Strong Man. Each participant will carry two light-weight plates and compete in the same race route.
